Happy Sunday!! (Long post alert) I’ve been off the grid for 30 hours…. this mama has got lots to share 😉)
At this point of the weekend this is all that I know how to do right now. My body feels like I got hit by a Mack truck, and I love every bit of it. Except for, it really hurts to move and to breathe so I figured a morning hot tub session, buns in the sun, crushing ketones, then figuring out what to do next would be a great idea.
I mean, it hurts to sneeze and hurts to roll over in bed – that’s the level of where we are right now 😜🤣
But hey, if I can endure childbirth with two babies, and there are people who are enduring a lot harder things than me out there in life-I can do anything I set my mind to, is my philosophy.
Yesterday was one of the most exhilarating experiences I’ve had in along time. Seems I’ve done a lot of that this week with Brazilian jujitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, and then yesterday rounded off the week with a five hour FirefighterFIT endurance event and went to a fun head shaving charity event – all in support of childrens cancer research with St. Baldricks.

My amazing friend Wally, also my neighbor, and an incredible example of a human being, put everything together, raised awesome $$$, brought great people together for a great cause. He lost his wife to breast cancer a few years ago and now raises two very young girls and has endured A LOT for himself and others. He puts this event together every year in her honor and to help other families.
It’s a constant reminder to me that when we think we’re doing or have to do hard things, someone out there is doing and having to experience and endure even harder things, unfathomable things – from those experiencing and going through cancer and dying and those families around them that are having to experience it with them and having their own experience of hell, life, death, survival and overall mortality.
It’s a constant reminder that someone out there is fighting a fight, so what can we do to be a bright light of inspiration and hope in their day.
I’ve met the coolest people this week and I’m really grateful for that because I know they will turn into long time friends that I want to spend my time with going forward.
I find it so interesting and ironic how one friendship leads to another, leads to another, and leads to another.
My soul really needed this this week.
Once again, the Universe brings to you what you need not necessarily what you want… and often times what you need ends up being what you want and you know it because it feels so good, so real, so natural, like it already was all along – you know that feel right?
I spent the last six years going full throttle building a business to support myself and my kiddos and so I could be an at home mom too. I rarely ever stop to just take a breath, I rarely ever stop to enjoy myself, enjoy life and have new experiences and surround myself with great human beings.
So on this journey of life I’ve decided that’s what I needed this past week and going forward, and then I find a way to weave that in and find balance in my current lifestyle.
So to end on an empowering and enlightening note…..
✨Great people attract great people! Which leads to amazing new life experiences.
Have a beautiful day my friends!🌺
