I also hear, “but my kids are around, its too stressful”, or “I can’t workout at home, I need to go to a gym”.But the thing is, you aren’t getting to the gym. You aren’t working out. You think it needs to be all or nothing…..GO BIG or stay home…and do nothingWell…..you can workout with your kids around.
You CAN workout at home and get results.YOU DO HAVE TIME.
I’ve been inspired by doing what is one of the most effective ways to train your heart and burn a ton of calories in a short period of time!Who wants MORE of that!? YES PLEASE!
It’s interval training, which is defined as short bursts of timed high intensity intervals followed by timed recovery. Today, we’re going to practice a form of high intensity interval training called Tabata. This will REV UP your metabolism, burn calories, burn fat and keep doing that for hours after you are done.This routine will work your heart at a high intensity for 20 seconds then allow it to recover for 10 seconds. We’ll do 4 exercises and repeat this pattern 4 times.

Prepare: 0
Work: 20
Rest:10
Cycles: 4
Tabatas: 1
The workout sequence goes like this:
>>Push Ups: 20 seconds ON/10 second rest ->Repeat 4 times
>>Burpees: 20 seconds ON/10 second rest ->Repeat 4 times
>>Air Squats: 20 seconds ON/10 second rest ->Repeat 4 times
>>Mountain Climbers: 20 seconds ON/10 second rest ->Repeat 4 times
